The time is almost upon us, as the spiritual successor to the Left 4 Dead series is officially launching in a couple weeks time. Developer Turtle Rock Studios gave us some system requirements before the official Open Beta, but that only included the recommended specs. Now they have been updated with minimum specs too, but don't worry it hasn't changed much.

If you saw the original Back 4 Blood Beta specs, then there really isn't much difference here apart from revealing the minimum requirements. None of the recommended specs have changed so if you managed to play the Beta fine its likely the final release will be similar too. Thankfully, the developers have also revealed the performance expectations for each tier of specs.

So here are the official Back 4 Blood PC system requirements...

Back 4 Blood recommended system requirements - 1080p / 60fps / Low graphics settings

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU RAM: 4GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 570
  • DX: 12
  • Storage: 40GB HDD

Back 4 Blood recommended system requirements - 1080p / 60fps / High graphics settings

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 7 1800X
  • RAM: 12GB
  • GPU RAM: 4GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 590
  • DX: 12
  • Storage: 40GB SSD

Back 4 Blood will need at least a GTX 970 or RX 590 graphics card in order to meet the recommended system requirements, achieving 60fps performance on High graphics settings at 1080p resolution. This should then be paired with either a Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 7 1800X processor as well as 12GB of RAM.

Looking at the minimum system requirements you will need a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 570 GPU along with a Core i5-6600 or Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, which will then deliver 60fps performance on Low graphics settings at 1080p resolution. You will also need at least 8GB of system memory.

Overall, looking at all the specs above, Back 4 Blood will need around a 7 year old PC in order to run smoothly.
