It's official folks, as we finally have a release date for Halo Infinite, launching on December 8th this year. The game is also now available for pre-order, and with the Steam Store page now up we finally also know the official system requirements for when the game launches in Holiday 2021.

So what kind of PC hardware is needed to run Halo Infinite at the minimum and recommended specs? Well, unfortunately for us Halo Infinite seems to be a pretty demanding game. If you want to play it at its best then you will need some pretty recent hardware. Minimum requirements might be a bit much for some people, especially after the Halo: The Master Chief Collection ran so well on PCs recently. Though if you're rocking some old mid-range hardware then you should be fine at least.

So let's take a look at the official Halo Infinite PC system requirements...

Halo Infinite minimum system requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 RS3 x64
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 or AMD FX-8370
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU RAM: 4GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 570
  • DX: 12

You will need either a Core i7-9700K or Ryzen 3700X processor coupled with an RTX 2070 or RX 5700 XT graphics card in order to run the Halo Infinite recommended system requirements. This setup should deliver around 60fps performance at 1080p resolution on High graphics settings. RAM required is 16GB.

Looking at the Halo Infinite minimum system requirements you will require a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 570 GPU paired with either a Core i5-4440 or FX-8370 CPU to reach the Halo Infinite minimum specs, which should deliver around 60fps performance on Low graphics settings at 1080p resolution.
