Jump Force Minimum and Recommended System Requirements Revealed
By Jon Sutton on February 12th, 2019 at 05:38pm - original article from game-debate

Jump Force arrives on February 15th, a day that's shaping up to be a very hectic Friday indeed. Bandai Namco's Jump Force is a fantastic looking fighter that blends many manga universes and heroes together, including One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh and more. It's coming to PC day and date with consoles and the final system specs for Jump Force have now been revealed.

Jump Force Recommended System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit

  • DX: DirectX 11
  • HDD: 17 GB Available Hard Drive Space

Jump Force did originally have a radically different set of system specs but these have since been overhauled drastically as we come up to its launch this Friday. As far as fighting games go, these specs for Jump Force are fairly lofty, particularly for those aiming for higher visual fidelity.

Those content to just get Jump Force up and running will be able to get away with some fairly low minimum specs though. The processor demands are low enough that any modern process should be able to provide performance at least on par with the Core i5-2500 or AMD A10-7860K. Likewise, the minimum spec GTX 660 Ti or Radeon HD 7950 are nice and low-end by today's standards and your key marker will be having a video card with at least 3GB VRAM. There is a chance you can get by on a 2GB video card such as the GeForce GTX 950, although you may have to dip below 1080p resolution.

Things take a big jump up for Jump Force's recommended requirements and you'll be needing a mid to high-end system to have it looking and running its best. A beefy quad-core CPU seems like a must, as is 8GB RAM and a solid video card like the ever-popular GTX 1060 6GB or AMD's fairly niche R9 Fury. For an AMD alternative look toward the Radeon RX 580.

Whatever you end up opting for, hitting 60 frames per second in Jump Force is going to be crucial. Fighting games lose a lot of their lustre if you're suffering from dropped frames. Do whatever it takes to bring the frame rate up, it's worth the graphical dip.
