AMD has dropped and extensive new gameplay trailer for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, earned as a result of it hopping into bed with Ubisoft for optimised performance on AMD hardware.
The seven minutes of The Division 2 gameplay have been pulled from a system using an AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB video card and a top-end Ryzen 2700X 8-core processor. That’s all the hardware you’d need to have cracking performance in The Division 2, although this video seems to have been pulled at just 1920 x 1080p screen resolution. We'd have loved some juicy frame rate
All of the footage has been taken from a run through one of TD2's three Dark Zones. These are the open PvPvE areas where the top-end loot can be found, but they also pose the biggest threat.
The Division 2’s Private Beta runs this weekend and is available to pre-load. It’s a 50GB download so you’ll probably want to hop to it if you want to be ready. Sign-ups are still possible on the official site, or through AMD’s own beta key giveaway. Time is probably pretty tight now though so you’d best get your requests in quick or else your only other opportunity is pre-ordering The Division 2.
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 15th.
