Madden NFL 19 Minimum System Requirements Touchdown
By Jon Sutton on August 3rd, 2018 at 04:37pm - original article from game-debate

UPDATE: Having previously revealed the minimum specs for Madden NFL 19, EA Sports has now revealed the official recommended system requirements for Madden 19, as well as making a few small tweaks to the minimum hardware requirements. We've updated the system specs below to reflect these changes, as well as the Madden NFL 19 game page here on GD.

Original Story: 20-Jul-2018 - Madden NFL 19 Minimum System Requirements Touchdown

Oh how we've you missed you football where you don't really use your feet. EA's Madden series has snubbed PC for over a decade but at long last, it's back with Madden NFL 19. A lot's changed since 2007, but what does this mean for Madden NFL 19's system specs?

Madden NFL 19 Recommended System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-4350 3.6 GHz or AMD FX-4350 4.2GHz
  • RAM: 8 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 2GB Video Memory

  • HDD: 49GB Available Hard Drive Space
  • DX: DirectX 11

Believe it or not, Madden NFL 19 is the first game in the Madden NFL series to come to PC since 2007's Madden NFL 08. We've got a bit of a blank slate in terms of comparing Madden 19 to the older games then, although we have the likes of FIFA 18 as a point of comparison. Both are published by EA Sports and built in the Frostbite 3 engine so, in theory, they should perform similarly. Madden NFL 19 has the same number of players on-screen at the same time, and visually the two series look on par.

In terms of system specs, the minimum requirements for Madden NFL 19 are a bit of a step up from what we saw in FIFA 18. They've jumped a couple of gens and now the minimum processor is a dual-core Intel Core i3-4350 or AMD Phenom II X4 970. It doesn't represent a massive difference in raw performance, these are just slightly newer CPUs.

Likewise, a 2GB video card rather than 1GB VRAM is suggested as the absolute minimum for Madden 19. The GTX 660 and the Radeon R7 370 are fairly old GPUs these though, so this shouldn't pose a problem for most.

Unfortunately, we're still waiting on the recommended requirements for Madden NFL 19, although we don't believe they're going to be radically different to the recommended specs for FIFA 18. The Frostbite engine delivers solid performance even on low to mid-range systems and Madden 19 is probably going to be the same story.

As ever, remember you can always check out how well your PC can run the Madden NFL 19 System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users. Compare your graphics card to the Madden NFL 19 GPU benchmark chart and we also have a Madden NFL 19 Frames Per Second system performance chart for you to check.
