Life is Strange 2 System Requirements Revealed
By Jon Sutton on July 2nd, 2018 at 04:52pm - original article from game-debate

Life is Strange 2 was announced late last week, although we all we got was the name and the briefest of teasers. Without knowing what the game looks like, we're operating on guesswork a little here. The system specs for Life is Strange 2 are extremely similar to the recently released The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, which serves as a pseudo-prequel to Life is Strange 2. Captain Spirit is absolutely free to download from Steam so if you have any doubts about Life is Strange 2's performance on your system, download Captain Spirit and see how it runs.

Aside from those comparisons, the system specs for Life is Strange 2 aren't overly demanding. The minimum spec is basically for a low to mid-range 5-year-old PC, so anyone with just about any modern system should be able to at least run Life is Strange 2.

For those after more stable frame rates and a higher resolution in Life is Strange 2, a more modern dual-core, multithreaded processor is necessary, paired with a 4GB video card and at least 6GB system memory. One thing to be wary of is that the system specs recommend a GeForce GTX 1050 4GB. This graphics card doesn't actually exist in desktop form, the GTX 1050 only has 2GB VRAM variants. It's tricky to predict but if 4GB VRAM is truly necessary then you may need a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti to run Life is Strange 2 at high graphics settings.
