Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Minimum System Requirements Wumpa Into View
By Jon Sutton on March 12th, 2018 at 09:54am - original article from game-debate

He's taken his sweet time, but everybody's favourite anthropomorphic marsupial is finally PC-bound. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy packages together the original trilogy of games (Crash 1, Crash 2: Cortex Strikes Back, Crash 3: Warped) totally remade and with bang up to date visuals. It makes for a 3D platformer that's very easy on the eye and, crucially, available to play on PC for the first time ever.

Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-750 2.66GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz
  • RAM: 8 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7850
  • HDD: TBA (Estimated 30GB Available Hard Drive Space)
  • API: DirectX 11

As far as minimum specs go, these requirements for Crash Bandicoot are pretty much par for the course. On the graphics card front, you're going to be able to squeak by with a comparatively low-end GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7850. Provided you've got at least 2GB VRAM, you should be able to run Crash N. Sane Trilogy without any issues. More modern cards like the GeForce GTX 950/1050 or Radeon RX 460/560 won't have any troubles.

The one caveat to the system requirements is that you will need a quad-core processor. Again, nearly all desktop-class CPUs these days are quad-core anyway, but if you're rocking an older system you could run into trouble. A stable frame rate is going to be must in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, particularly when precise timing and tricking platforming comes into play.

Activision hasn't announced the installation size of Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy yet, but I've provided the PS4 size as a rough estimate. Typically PC games are roughly the same size as their console counterparts, give or take a few gigabytes.

We are still three months out from launch so these system requirements for the Crash Trilogy are still liable to change, and of course, we're still eager to find out what the recommended specs may be.

As ever, remember you can always check out how well your PC can run the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users.
